Gut bacteria and colorectal cancer Share this article:-      Colon cancer, Rectal cancer and Colorectal cancer are now understood to be definitely linked to microbial problems in the gut. The new EU-funded SYNCAN project is expected to confirm that taking beneficial bacteria and certain probiotics can lower DNA damage and reduce rates of colorectal cancer.
